After hearing positive news about the signings or re-signings, in true Congleton Town fashion some negative news has to hit.
£8 for this weekends friendly v Crewe, very very steep for a friendly! Why so expensive? Surely this price is not in place for the other friendlies and in fact this seasons home games?

Got to be able to afford the alleged wage bill for this season somehow! I think its called 'milking the punters'....
Conversely, I believe Alsager are charging just £5 for entry for their friendly with Port Vale on Tuesday.

Wow, and £5 for concessions...it raised my eyebrows when I saw it and I can't see that it'll go down too well with the regulars.. Ah well, I guess the dawn of a new era has begun...and although I will say for a fact that I know absolutely nothing, I suspect there may be a few other surprises in stall when the season starts..
