Congleton Town FC are seeking applications for the post of Reserve Team Manager. As part of the club’s desire to make a concerted push for promotion, they have reviewed their structure, including the teams they run.
First team manager Jim Vince has already made significant changes to the way the first team is run and has requested the club run a reserve side that will better support the first team. As a result, the club are seeking to enter the NWCFL Reserve Division for the coming season and are seeking a management team that will find and develop players with first team potential to fulfil that objective.
Applicants are asked to register their interest and forward their CVs to Jim Vince at the flowing e-mail address - james.vince@openreach.co.uk
The closing date for applications is 31st May 2012.

Hi,
Would it be possible to have a trial with the reserve team? Who might I be able to speak to regarding this?
Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Martin

It's resignations that have to be submitted by 31st March. Applications can be submitted up to the end of June I believe.

SHUT UP, SHUT UP I attended the CTFC open forum, with an open mind, wanted to listen to all the 'debates'. I must say I was not expecting to witness next seasons main sponsor and spoakesman (www. gutly.co.uk, the well worn placards will be on all photographs, plug, plug) for the following season to shout down and tell a loyal activist and long standing supporter to 'shut up', and after been suggested he was out of order, he again arrogantly repeated the insult. Is it now ME (1 year with money, so lump it or f*ck off) more important than, YOU (10 years loyal supporter and have a question to ask)? Oh dear, oh dear. Next season, and I mean this, good luck Vince I believe in you not you Mr Neil 'shut up, shut up' Gatley.

PRESENTATION 2012

This was all very sad.
The presentations went well and a lot of honest decent debate was had in the question and answer session.
Unfortunately, perhaps as a consequence of there being no one in the chair to hold the proceedings to account it degenerated to a rather sad conclusion.
I hope those involved will reflect, move on & make up their differences, as it was clear there was a lot of goodwill on offer and we all want the same things even if we sometimes do not agree how to get there.

at the meeting last week it was said that the club wants to involve the youth teams of the town but could not get in touch with anyone from congleton rovers if they had gone on to web site there are numbers there for club officials .T.hey held there presention day last saturday morning with the mayor of congleton making the presentations, if jim vince can make it to vale why not go to the rovers and please do not use the excuse that the club could not get hold of anyone from rovers as this is not hard.

According to the poeple who have taken over the clubhouse they were told there will be no reserve side this season..
So it would appear just 1st team footy only..anyone closer to the club that can confirm this??
