Clubhouse and Catering Manager
The Club is looking to appoint a Clubhouse and Catering Manager. The role will involve bar and function management, match catering for directors, supporters and sponsors and maintaining the clubhouse and hospitality facilities to a high standard. This is a paid role and subject to the successful promotion of the clubhouse within the Congleton area could develop into a full-time role. The successful candidate may consider taking the clubhouse business as a tenant or franchisee and this would be discussed at an early stage. It would be an advantage if an applicant has a DPS licence (alcohol licence) and some experience of running either a bar/restaurant or been involved in the hospitality industry in some capacity. It is possible that the appointment would lead to a Board position within the Club.
Marketing Manager
The Club is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager. This is a new role within the Club. The role will involve full responsibility for the marketing of the Club to the local and regional sporting, business and voluntary communities. The ability of the Club to generate income through advertising, sponsorship and ground and clubhouse hire is a key factor in the fulfilment of the Club’s ambitions to develop both its football and community activities. This role is an unpaid position at this stage although if sufficient progress is made by the successful applicant an incentive package would be available. The role is likely to lead to a Board position in the short term. In the first instance please e-mail Nigel Moorhouse (nigel@romanlodge.com) with a short CV to register your interest in either of these roles.
